We are always leaning, learning and learning to be a better person.
I was facing a lot of problems in my work recently especially dealing with my colleague in China.
I was upset, disappointed and angry with him; I was keeping on thinking on the recent happenings, day and night, and get stressed up, when stressed up, my brain could not operate
Many things happened and came to one of the order confirmation, I was almost replying in this way:
“It is obviously your typing mistake; it is very difficult for you to admit the error? I don’t understand what you trying to prove in your email; anyhow, I had learnt from the previous lesson that everything must make it clear from you guys and must have a black and white from you guys too..”
About to click “send”, I hold back and went to wash room.
When I get back to my work station; thanks God, I noticed it wasn’t sounds good. The way I reply could “fire up” my colleague in China. I deleted all and replied in another way:
“Thanks for your clarification, it is always best to clarify in order to have the correct understanding, May I have your official PO please?.”
Don’t you think this is better? Yeah, I know it is just small tiny matter you could say. But our life is just full of all this small tiny things, and sometime, some word from others (unintentionally) hurts us. And we think, can’t they express in a better way?
Whatever I wish how others ppl treat me, let’s start with myself.
My 2009 New Year resolution, be a better man. (man = "ren" = human being), lol….
And am not afraid of any problem, but pray to be wiser in handling any situation.
