Rumba Walk

Still can't get my hip "settled" when I walk fast. Ended up,　Ｉ"twist" my hip...
still need more practice... practice and practice.

Rumba Hip Action

All this while, I thought Rumba hip movement is to twist our hip, to rotate our hip, until I read the passage below:

"Rumba hip movement are exaggerated,but are not generated by the hips. They are simply a results of good foot, ankle and leg action. When these wight transfers are well-controlled, the hips take care of themselves."

Hm... ok ok.

And there are 4 types of hip actions, namely:
1. Settling hip action
2. Lateral hip action
3. Rotation hip action
4. Twisting hip action

Rumba

The Rumba is a slow and romantic dance. Rumba tells a story of love. Full of sensual movements, the Rumba is considered by many to be the sexiest of the ballroom dances.
The Rumba spotlights the lady's rhythmic body movements and hip actions resulting in intense, almost steamy, scenes of passion.

Hip movement is a very important element of the Rumba. These hip movements and characteristic sways of the Rumba are generated by the bending and straightening of the knees. The intensity of the Rumba is increased by sharp eye contact between the man and the woman. The stillness of the upper body, while adding dramatic intensity, also emphasizes the strong, sensuous leg and foot movements.

The basic rhythm of the Rumba is quick-quick-slow with distinctive side-to-side hip movements. Hip movements are exaggerated, but are not generated by the hips - they are simply a result of good foot, ankle, knee and leg action. When these weight transfers are well-controlled, the hips take care of themselves. Distinctive Rumba steps include the following:

Guppy

Started my aquarium with guppies couple months ago. I "heard" that guppies is easy to keep. 1st try failed because my guppies infested by "mouth and body fungus". It was kinda heart breaking seeing the fish died one by one.



Not giving up, had a second try. Still go with guppies. the second effort last for almost three months. And.... all my guppies died today. (Yesterday I had the water changed / not all, just about 50% of the water). Just over a night, all my guppies died. Another heart breaking experience.



I just realise, it's not so call "easy" to rear fish (generally) or guppies (specifically).



Browse from internet, I had learn that:
1. Change 25% water weekly and siphoning the debris out from the bottom of the tank.
2. Need to aware of the amonia content.
3. Temperature control.
4. Not too crowded for a tank. basically 6 fishes for a 10 gallon tank.
5. Is best to keep some live plants in the tank
6. Dont over feed the fish.
7. etc etc.etc... yet to learn.

2010 started with sponsorship

I Would like to say, I started my 2010 by sponsoring a kids via World Vision. Nothing to be proud of, but just feel happy.

I did not specify the country name that I wanted to sponsor. Neither gender, but I did imagine that the kid that World Vision will allocate for me may be will come from South Africa, or Thailand, or Myanmar, Mongolia, or India or China, or else where.

I received the Sponsor starter kit today. The details that WV provided to me is a little girl from Indonesia. I am sponsoring a kid from Indonesia. I never imagine that I will sponsor an Indonesian kid. My first thought was dissapointed. May be I just dont like most of the incidents happened lately. And how they treated others...And how they treated us.

But the second thought, I realised that God want me to learn to love unconditionally. Wherever and whoever needs my help, I should help without counting where are them from, what they have done etc etc... I feel blessed. I am blessed, because I am able to help.

The little girl is innocent and she is actually cute. Dissapointment gone. I hope that the little girl can grow up in good health, have good education and be a good people.
